Medications:
– Artesunate: Suitable in pregnancy
– Quinine with doxycycline (doxycycline can be given on its own, avoid if <12 yrs old)
– Atovaquone/proguanil
– Chloroquine
– Primaquine: Not licensed in the UK, contraindicated in pregnancy/breastfeeding and G6PD deficiency
