- Cool room temperature
- Fan usage
- Open windows
- Relaxation breathing techniques
Medications:
- Oramorph (oral morphine)
- Subcutaneous morphine/diamorphine if oral not tolerated
- Benzodiazepines for anxiety/agitation
- Bronchodilators for wheeze/airway obstruction
Oxygen therapy:
- Home oxygen (LTOT)
- if O2 sats <92%
- Respiratory review required
- Usage >15 hours daily
- Typical flow rate 2-3L
