Conservative:
- Observation: 1/3 resolve spontaneously within 6 months
Medical management:
- Topical treatments: podophyllotoxin, imiquimod
- Ablative therapies: cryotherapy, cautery, excision
Referral criteria for sexual health/GUM:
- Pregnancy
- Immunocompromised status
- Children
- Suspected malignancy
- Intraepithelial neoplasia
- Cervical/intra-anal warts
- Diagnostic uncertainty
Additional management:
- Sexual partner assessment required
Prognosis
- Self-resolution is possible within 6 months in untreated cases
