Clear demarcation with scaly plaque, red/pink
- Distribution varies by type: o Chronic plaque P: flexure surfaces, scalp, neck, facial o Inverse P: extensor regions o Guttate P: droplet-like on trunk, arms, legs o Nail P:
- Pitting, yellow discolouration, subungual hyperkeratosis, onycholysis.
- 50% of patients with psoriasis have nailed involvement, and 90% of psoriatic arthritis patients have nail involvement.
- Localised pustular: palms and soles
- Erythrodermic: >90% body surface area (MEDICAL EMERGENCY)
- Generalised pustular: severe systemic manifestations (MEDICAL EMERGENCY)
