Treatment Plan
Conservative:
- Sun protection
- Avoid triggers
- Skincare
Medical treatment:
- Persistent erythema: topical brimonidine
- Mild-moderate papulopustular: topical ivermectin/metronidazole for 8-12 weeks
- Moderate-severe: topical treatment plus oral doxycycline for 8-12 weeks Referral criteria:
- Severe telangiectasia
- Persistent erythema not responding to treatment
- Diagnostic uncertainty
- Urgent ophthalmology if keratitis/uveitis present
