Definition
• A benign progressive condition affecting palmar connective tissue
• This leads to debilitating contractures
Prevalence
• More common in Northern European descent
Etiology
• Thickening of connective tissue in palms
• Forms nodules and cords in fingers
• Associated skin tethering and thickening
• Progressive flexion contractures, particularly 4th and 5th digits
