Signs & Symptoms
Concerning symptoms requiring immediate cessation and referral:
For all DMARDs:
• Sore throat
• Fever
• Unexplained bleeding/bruising
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Weight loss
• Alopecia
• Peripheral neuropathies
For biological agents:
• Cough
• Haemoptysis
• Signs of heart failure
• Shortness of breath
• Dry skin rashes
• Severe abdominal pain
• Changes in bowel habits
