Management & Breastfeeding In Babies

Management: 

1. General: – Education – Annual review
2. Non-severe reactions:

• Oral antihistamines (chlorphenamine >2y, cetirizine, loratadine) c) Severe reactions:
• Adrenaline for anaphylaxis

Breastfeeding In Babies:

• Can continue without dietary restriction in most cases
• Exception: specific reaction to an allergen in breast milk
