- Incidence: 2,500 cases yearly; 5-year survival: <10%.
- Refer to a 2-week referral cancer pathway if CXR suggests
- Offer Urgent CXR as above with one of the unexplained symptoms/exposures to
- Offer Urgent (2-week) CXR if age ≥40 years and ≥2 (or ≥1 for smokers) of the following unexplained symptoms:
- Cough, Shortness of breath (SOB), Chest pain, Fatigue, Fever, Weight loss, Appetite loss
