Urgent Referral Criteria (2-week pathway):

• Age >30 years:
  • Breast lump (with or without pain)
  • Unexplained axillary lump
• Age >50 years:
  • Unilateral changes to a single nipple:
    • Discharge
    • Retraction
    • Other concerning features (especially skin changes)
  • Any age:
    • Non-resolving skin changes (e.g., nipple eczema unresponsive to topical treatment).
    • Tethering of the skin
    • Peau d’orange (skin condition of the breast, commonly linked to breast cancer)
