Urgent Referral Criteria (2-week pathway):
- Age >30 years:
- Breast lump (with or without pain)
- Unexplained axillary lump
- Age >50 years:
- Unilateral changes to a single nipple:
- Discharge
- Retraction
- Other concerning features (especially skin changes)
- Any age:
- Non-resolving skin changes (e.g., nipple eczema unresponsive to topical treatment).
- Tethering of the skin
- Peau d’orange (skin condition of the breast, commonly linked to breast cancer)
