- Most conditions are self-limiting – Referral indicated for:
- Motor delays
- Late walking
- Pathological presentations
- Associated syndromes
PROGNOSIS
Generally good with most conditions resolving spontaneously
KEY INFORMATION
- Most MSK presentations in children are benign
- Important to distinguish between physiological and pathological presentations – Red flags: asymmetry, pain, associated syndromes, developmental delays
