Conservative:

• Identify and treat the underlying cause
• Symptom management

Medical:
• IV/oral anti-emetics based on severity

Referral/admission criteria:
• Unable to tolerate oral intake
• Suspected central cause
• Stroke symptoms with unilateral hearing loss/vertigo
• Persistent vertigo with hyperacute onset
• New onset headache/deafness
• Severe ataxia
• Cranial/limb weakness
• Sensory loss
