Antibiotic interactions with vaccines:
- Typhoid vaccine: avoid antibiotics 3 days before and after
- Cholera vaccine: avoid antibiotics 14 days before and 10 days after Differential diagnoses:
- Acute prostatitis
- BPH
- Malignancies
- STIs
- Pyelonephritis
For Men >65, suspect UTI: o New dysuria alone / ≥2 of the following: temperature 1.5° above normal twice in the last 12 hours, new urinary frequency or urgency, new incontinence, new delirium, new suprapubic pain, visible haematuria
