Postmenopausal women:
- Pre-menopause UTI history
- Urinary incontinence
- Increased post-void residual
- Catheterisation
- Decreased functional status
- Urogenital atrophy
Complicated UTI:
- Pregnancy
- Post-menopause
- Hospitalisation
- Recent catheterisation
- Urological issues
- Renal disease
Antibiotic resistance:
- Multiple/prolonged antibiotic use
- Long-term care residence
- Hospital stay >7 days in the past 6 months
- Previous resistant UTI
- Structural GU abnormalities
- Renal impairment
