- A multidisciplinary approach is essential, ideally delivered in a specialist CF centre. Care includes:
- Lung health: Exercise, physiotherapy, antibiotics, and mucolytics.
- Nutritional support:
- Oral pancreatic enzymes before meals.
- High-calorie diet.
- Fat-soluble vitamin supplementation (A, D, E). o Treatment of complications: Diabetes, osteoporosis, and more.
