Investigations & Diagnosis
Males:
• First void urine sample (primary)
• Urethral swab (alternative) Females:
• Vulvovaginal swab
• Endocervical swab
• First void urine sample Screening:
• Annual for sexually active <25
• More frequent if ≥2 partners in last 12 months
• If <2 weeks post-exposure: test and repeat after 2 weeks if negative
